Re: 127/1324 Nobody's Home

When she's certain the Gig is set to keep station alongside the Cruiser Luurani joins Zaphod at the shattered viewport. Her weapons and equipment are securely stowed so as not to interfere with her manoeuvring, and leaving her hands free. ( She is armed against the advent of new arrivals more than i...

Re: 127/1324 Nobody's Home

"Cal, Ambrose, we've flown 'round the Cruiser, no signs of life. Breached viewport on an upper deck. We could join you exploring the spooky hulk, coming in through the broken window. If you're happy to pick your way through the frozen Droyne grave-ship alone we can go and see what terrors are waitin...

Re: 127/1324 Nobody's Home

Luurani grins hugely at Zaphod's thumbs-up. "Welcome aboard for the Tour of the Alien Death Ship." When we've seen the sights she'll ask Zaphod "Well, what shall we do? Join up with the others or go independent? We could go in through the window, or try one of the doors. I favour the window, no need...

Re: 127/1324 Nobody's Home

Luurani is back in her Vacc Suit, armed, and on her way to the cruiser in the Gig. She plans to fly around the Cruiser looking for holes, or other clues, and be available for rescue/back-up.

Re: 126/1324 Twilight Firefight OoC

Lovely image of the cruiser - I've only seen it as a small B&W drawing before, this really makes it live.

Re: 127/1324 Enter the Gazelle

We've crossed the horizon with the Gazelle? Dammit... Keep out of the comms shadow with Weare Downport at least - we ought to be able to get off a last message if this goes appallingly badly. OK, Gurutz take a laser turret, in case we need point defence. Yejide, get to the dorsal barbette. Don't pow...

Re: 127/1324 Enter the Gazelle

OOC: Hopefully Tigran on the bridge or one of us touring the barbettes/turrets notices the Cutter zooming off and follows./contacts them.

Re: 127/1324 Enter the Gazelle

OOC: I think we're going to stop over in the lay-by on the moon, have a cuppa and a chat, look at the map.... BIC: At first Luurani files Zaphod as "typical flakey Scout", but becomes puzzled by his apparent need for a clearly defined mission.... Not as laid-back as he acts, maybe more of a complica...

Re: 127/1324 Enter the Gazelle

Perhaps we ought to wait until Cal and Ambrose can join us. They're only on temporary detachment, for this recon job. Maybe put down on that moon together, have our tea-party there.

Re: 127/1324 Enter the Gazelle

OOC: Ah, I hadn't realised that they'd completed the task of stripping out the data. Fast and efficient. Any info on the Cruiser in there, Ambrose? BIC: Cute, he thinks I'm embarrassed. I know girls who'd have fun with that, play coy... Grinning back Luurani tells Zaphod ”Take a Holo, it'll last lon...

Re: 127/1324 Enter the Gazelle

"Since the pirates have gone and the Mercs are neutral, maybe we hold station on this side of the moon while Ambrose works on the Cutter computers. There's no time pressure, and the more we can find out from those files the better."
