Well that's an unstable situation. Got to make the attempt. Intending to keep adjacent to the tether, for security:

The +1 from Dex won't help with that... flying is easier with a ship :)

Yes, lets keep moving to the bridge. We can go through this area later after we get control back.

A better assessment of the orbital decay of the cruiser, and a more accurate timeframe for our operations, would be nice for now Tigran.

Oh, and perhaps rescue Luurani if she misses the Gig and spirals out.....

Stateroom 22 contains three bodies, two burned Droyne corpses, and a jumpsuit-wearing Human female. A quick check shows she was shot repeatedly in the face and body whilst lying medically restrained to her bed.

Do Ambrose and Cal continue on towards the forward compartment?

She is out of action until the next iteration of the cruiser-gig tandem rotates around again, or gets picked up.

What is Zaph up to?

"Ambrose we can come back and do right, for now, lets get this ship under our control. Bridge will be up and forward from here. Luurani is swinging in the wind, you good to go?"

Ooookaaay, everyone seems happy in their chaotic personal ways.
In which case it depends if we are saving this ship or not.

“ Hola mi amigos. Do you want me to see if I can kick start the power and drives on this here floating mausoleum? Alternately we can blow it up maybe or just let it find it’s own path.. the bridge was pretty shot up so steering this hulk may be tricky.
Or I can try prise out some of the more valuable retrievable components... ? Anyhoo I’m heading back to starboard engineering to risk my sorry posterior.”

Comms; "Zaphod we haven't got to the bridge yet, so we don't know what state it's in, but we 're not far away now. Try and get power and manoeuvre back on line and we can go from there. Hang tight Luurani, shout if you need a hand"

"Happy? When everything stops spinning, maybe. You guys stabilise that zarking ship, do us all a favour. It's got a lot of useful data. Fleet would like to have the thing too."

Luurani, looking for the upside, decides to treat her excursion as just another part of her Zero-G training schedule and get on with solving the exercise.

Ambrose goes to inspect the human female, muttering something unintelligible

Zaphod will return to engineering and check the place out.

He will assess the plant and m drive- with a view to getting some motive power.
