Accounting Discussions

Post by forbin » Sun Jan 12, 2014 1:38 pm

Discussions specifically about the bookkeeping entries in "Accounting" go here.

Official ship's company policies, procedures, and principles of operation are kept in "Company Operations".
Discussions specifically about those posts go in "Company Operations Discussions".
(Both are concerned with "how we run the business" not "how we fly the ship.")

General discussions of the above topics, and ship's finances in general, go in the old "Raven's Coin Finances" topic.

Ship's Demise Charter - Amounts and Dates

Post by forbin » Sun Jan 12, 2014 3:13 pm

GM: I wrote "Annual overhaul: 443,600 Cr". Not k-credits, but credits.

That's based on what you gave as the bulk cost that the Navy bought the ships, and 0.1% (i.e. 1/1000) of the new cost as the price of an overhaul. Is this correct? Elsewhere, you said "the total cash price that the maintenance figure is drawn from is closer to 400MCr" -- I'm assuming you're referring to the "cost of ship" with the value there.

It is cost of ship, minus the missing missile bay which shouldn't have been there anyways.

Then I guess I should change the cost of overhaul to a flat 400,000 credits?

As a round figure, that should work.
