Looking at the equipment thread I see we have three Gauss Rifles - we snagged one on the Liner.

Probably ought to issue one to Rojo, if he can use it. Same with Scree.

Sorry for the latency, been a hectic few days.

Rojo does have a Carbine Rifle. But, he's happy to carry a Gauss if that's the decision (at least, that's what he told me over drinks last night).

Hopefully gunplay can be avoided, but if it comes to it overwhelming superiority is the best thing. We'll take the Gauss ifles and hope not to unpack them. Does Rojo need Cloth/Reflec?

Looking at the list above I notice I forgot to copypasta the RAM grenades. Which is annoying, because I'd just put them on Zhenya's own list....

Taking grenades is ok, though istr the one from the liner taken from the Navy guys wasn't a grenadier rifle? Or did that get fixed? However, if like an M41A from Aliens, probably should all be grenadier rifles.

We didn't add a GL to the navy model. If it is a bare-barrel, well last to grab a Gauss gets a lighter weapon to carry :)

Thanks, it was on the Pinterest suggestions a few weeks ago, and I've been itching to use it - a rare hit.

Vern has the ability to sneak, except not necessarily the total invisibility of normal Traveller Droyne; I have been on the fence about psionics in general, we haven't used them, and it seems to be fine, so I am happy to leave them to the side.

What does everyone else think? I mean maybe ... except I don't know.

I never liked Psionics, too Woo. If I wanted magic I'd play an FRPG.

It's a holdover from the days of Uri Geller and The Men Who Stare at Goats.

Still, plenty of SF has it, and Traveller has kept it.....


There is no reason for us to fight here, really. It's just that Zhenya hates being used. If they'd asked us to help smuggle stuff to the rebels, fine, but this?

If the majority of the group don't want to fight Zhenya will accept that, and get revenge later.

This sums up my personal opinion on psi also, not judging if anyone else likes it, though.

Combat, frontal attack wise, the only thing I have to add is that the auto-cannon is roughly equal to being attacked, it will do a +4 attack (w/o operator skill) on someone in CA at very long, and the someone attacking w/gauss rifles will also be at +4 before skill; these things probably would be common knowledge.
