Vargr bonus vs non-Vargr converts Kuerzu's roll to a success:

The hasty lunge sails straight past Kuerzu as he sidesteps, leaving Zhenya open his pounce.

"Blyad'! You're heavy. I surrender. This is harder when I'm trying not to hurt people."

[ooc] Even if their charisma is considered ok, Kuerzu's is higher, so he squeaks by with an 8.

Neither Kuerzu or Zhenya wins surprise, however Kuerzu is victor in the brawl.

Back at the card game, Cal has yet to ante up or roll.

Kuerzu chuckles softly and gives her a quick kiss. "One more, I think. A winner take all sort of deal." He says with his wolfish grin. "I assume you are hiding?" He asks, letting her up and sitting back on his haunches, forearms on knees.

"Fa Vaghzkourr*." Zhenya manages to make the Vargr words sound affectionate.

"Very well, one more hunt then, because you love it so. My turn to lie in wait, yes, and no more catch and release."

Getting up Zhenya strokes Kuerzu's head: "We should make this hunt quick, we may not have the ship so much to ourselves for long, and we can fight in it whenever we want."

Zhenya jogs off calling a teasing "Dzall fe!" **

Kuerzu chuckles softly as he watches her depart. He gives her a fair bit of a head start before coming after her, using all of his senses to try and determine her location.

IC: Following Zhenya's scent brings Kuerzu to the Flight Deck and the bait of a discarded jumpsuit inside-out on the floor. The hiss-thunk of a door announces someone leaving the break-room behind him, spoiling the surprise.
