Not being an expert, Doc will ask if docking to the Scout is possible? We will at least have a familiar fall back area if/when we have to run. Checking the logs would also be a good idea if possible.

Khaek continues to circle the ship at a safe distance. "Just tell me where you want her." he says as she pulls up the proper docking procedures.

OoC: Anything anybody wants to address to Dax, should do it over the tac-comm, otherwise I can't answer questions unless it is meta.

Meanwhile, here is a pic and the deck plans for the scout (I assume someone pulled them up on their comm):

Nowhar looking up the standard plans for the scout type. "If we dock with the other airlock we can download any logs. Then we can pick up their trail and also have an air gap between the alien ship and our ride home Ranse you and Doc hit the logs and see what you can find and Khaek you and I can make sure the initial entry is safe. Sound good?"

"Let's try to get to the scout first, see if we can snap the survivor out of her funk and see if there's any information about what that thing is or where it came from before we wander into it." Ranse thinks back to the trip to Dietsidr, wondering what trivia Nuri would have come up with for this scenario from his tri-v childhood.

Khaek should roll for docking: Routine (+2) Pilot task taking 1–6 minutes, (we can say the effect is subtracted from 6 minutes for the time).

On the approach the ship is eerily massive, discolored, and derelict. Of course space is always totally silent. While it looks like it took surface damage, it also looks like something exploded from the inside, gutting a massive section in the middle forward. The scout looks dwarfed, and in some ways, archaic, by the alien ship.

KHaek nods and checks his console. "Alright, I'll dock with the scout." he says as he guides the Calf in.

Roll One
Generating 1 rolls of 2d6+2, 1 per line.
Comment: Pilot

As we get closer and start to dock, Doc will use the sensors on the Calf to scan for neural signatures and uses the Densitometer to get some idea of the deck layout of the alien ship.

While there is a sort of heavy bump, feeling solid, mostly just felt, Khaek breaks with his normal routine of smooth movement and takes a little longer (10 minutes) to correct the Calf's attitude and get the extendable docking ring connected.

The Calf has "look down" from the Bull's sensors, as that full military sensors would cramp the little boat's space more than needed, in particular now that it has a pulse laser in a chin turret, and a VRF GG/GL on the port side door.

He does still see the faint signature in the Type S, and finds that the detail is fuzzy, but it looks like a hanger next to the scout, with maybe some sort of ship inside.

Waiting in the Calf, the Doc sees NAS signature eventually go dark.

Doc will inform the group of the loss of NAS signature. He says that this might be a very good time to do what the Marines would refer to as "Weapons Hot" Doc will check his suit as well as the others before leaving and make sure that Mr. Grenade is close by.
