Doc will try to go in first and see if there is some kind of an engineering access panel. He will try to see if there might be some battery power left that might activate the emergency lighting.

Doc does find some lights, battery backups powered by thermocouples, a few, flickering on the way to engineering. The orientation is weird, on it's side, and there have been people in here, there are footprints on the walls. Once he reaches engineering, he sees the controller: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Controlle ... ol_theory) for the power plant, it is a multi-cabinet unit, that will take at least 6 hours to disassemble and get loaded into the Calf.

Meanwhile, Rhaa sees dust columns on the horizon beyond the hills to the north, company is likely.

A tracked ATV trundles up, marked with a company logo: Trojan Recovery Group, six guys get out, three armed with ACR's, two with SMG's and one with a shotgun, all in cloth armor with the TRG logo, two remain in the ATV, one to man a machinegun on the roof, and another as driver.

(Example of what the ATV looks like.)

One of the guys steps forward and says: "What's all this now?"

[ooc]
Could we get a map or diagram detailing positions of our crew and the TRG people and vehicle?

Doc, Luurani, and Bex are in the Gazelle. Everyone else is in the Calf, hiding out to the south, off the map.

The TRG troopers are rather spooked at the lack of any reply, so they move in using cover in a bounding fire movement to flank Rhaa's position, as they get within about 100 meters, two Guild Droyne fighters buzz over at treetop level. Turning, they look like they are coming around for another pass.

"Damn!" Alys exclaims, her boots hitting the deck, "They must have spoofed us!"

OOC: Well crap, we need these parts before we have to bounce. Is there enough power to make that barbette work? Does it even have a decent arc of fire if we could?

BIC: "Here comes trouble," Bex says with resignation.

OoC: Can we see what Rhaa sees over the comms while we are in the Gazelle?

Other exits from the wreck? There's a belly hatch for launch access, maybe hatches in the barbettes and turrets. Perhaps the crash tore some new holes. If we can all exit from different places we can get maximum fire and confusion on these guys. With fighters about Luurani itches for the controls of the Calf...

OOC: Are the recovery guys as surprised by the fighters as we are, or cool as cucumbers?
