Khaek pilot's the Bull expertly above the accretion disk of planets that never formed, some minor course corrections, except nothing major. This would almost be a belter's paradise, planets that didn't form near ones that did, and more asteroid and planetoid belts farther out.

OoC: If Rhaa doesn't roll sensors, Luurani can, just to keep things moving.

Doc will monitor communications, with the communicator set to receive only, to see if there is anything "out" there.

Well, shee ...

Doc can pick up flight telemetry from two fighters that show up on the Bull's scanners like Christmas tree lights, they are fast movers too, at above 7 G's acceleration, coming on an intercept course. They will be making a pass at 5 hours and 48 minutes, right now, they are still beyond weapons range, and right now is time to make a plan of action.

Doc will tell everyone that we need to be gone in 5 hours and 47 minutes. We have some really bad ass company incoming at over 7G's.

Khaek grumbles as he checks the telemetry over again. "I can push the engines, but it' not gonna be pretty." he says.

ETA for the asteroid will depend on when you release it, but basically, straight flying at this point is around 15 hours, maybe a little less. Even detaching from the asteroid and duking it out with the fighters, doesn't mean you can't reattach and keep going, dragging it on to target, if you win. Plus the accretion disk might be a better environment to fight the fighters, in particular if they are using missiles, as they lack the energy for the G turns needed in extended combat.

Rhaa will attempt to dial in more specifics with the sensors about the fighters which might help if and when a fight comes into being.

Sorry guys if I've been holding things up. I've been having stomach problems for months, but finally have gotten a date for surgery. It will be this Thursday. After that I'll have some time on my hands and will be more able to follow the game and post.

"What is the likely weapon fit on those bogeys? Can we handle, say, three hits while taking them down and still be fit for action later?"

Might as well pop off another batch of decoys. Maybe peel one off...

"Best is to not get hit, they can mess us up." Alys says.

OoC:Three hits, depends: the disintegrator and anti-matter missiles are 4d6 a piece. Pretty tough, not tougher than a bay weapon at 6d6+crew hit like a particle accelerator bay.

BiC: Rhaa's sensor readings confirm what Doc detected, the Bull seems to have picked up some dogs, who are sniffing hard in her direction.

I really should have brought a loadmaster to manage the deployment on that run.....
