The Kappa Ceti zone: backs up to the 82 Eridani zone 6, a marginal zone underway with colonization; as well as Smuggler’s Gap, and the Wolf 66 Route. Luyten 727-32 is only 2.01 pc (6.55 lys) from Luyten 730-18, while Teegarden’s Star is in the Tau Ceti region. Gliese 183 serves as a nexus to both the 13 Leporis and Chi Orionis zones. Ojo Rojo (Luyten 1305-10) acts as a back door to the Delta Trianguli system in Theta Persei at 2.09 parsecs (6.8113 light-years) away.

Fermi, Kappa Ceti, dominates the Kappa Ceti sector with trade ships plying the lanes to as far away as the Theta Persei sector. Named for Enrico Fermi, there is no bearing between his name and the character of the planet, which is a sort of squire-ocracy, ruled by an oligarchy of landed gentry, living on estates that are maintained by robots.

Stromness of Luyten 727-32, in fact a satellite of Xiaomai di (Gliese 84) E746620-A Ag Ni 911 M3V, even though having similar governments, took different sides in the recent conflict, where Stromness originally losing, became the winner upon the Imperial ascendancy.

Hideaway (Rob 115) has been given an Amber Zone classification due to suspect pirate or smuggling activity.

Jagdish (Giclas 160-28) is interdicted, a Red Zone, due to a conflict that is occurring between domed settlements on the main world.
